“Carro” ist einer der besten Wavespots im Mittelmeer und letztes Wochenende hämmerte der Mistral mit voller Kraft im Süden Frankreichs. Carro liegt 40km westlich von Marseille und bietet richtig gute Bedingungen. Zu den “Carro Wave Classics” waren neben einigen “Local Heros” auch PWA Fahrer wie Thomas Traversa, Peter Volwater oder Julien Taboulet gekommen.

Dank Sophia Regerbis haben wir ein Video vom Event – dass übrigens Thomas Traversa vor Julien Taboulet und Peter Volwater gewann. Jules Denel wurde Vierter und Fanny Aubet gewann bei den Mädels. Auch eine “Youth” Wertung gab es – hier gewann der Justin Denel.

Viel Spaß mit dem Clip – zwar ohne englische Untertitel – aber “Action” ist international.

“Carro” is one of the best wavespots in the mediterranean and last weekend the spot in the south of France – close to Marseille – was blessed with perfect conditions. Just in time for the “Carro Wave Classics”. PWA sailors like Thomas Traversa, Peter Volwater or Julien Taboulet sailed against some “local heros”.

Thx to Sophia Regerbis – we have a video of that event. Make sure to check it out below. In the end, Thomas Traversa won in front of Julien Taboulet. Peter Volwater finished in 3rd position – Jules Denel became 4th. Fanny Aubet won the women fleet and Justin Denel the Youth.

Vor ein paar Wochen haben wir das erste Video der “Road Trippin” Videoserie von Thomas Traversa gepostet. Nach der Bretagne geht es nun noch weiter in den Süden. Portugal stand auf dem Zettel von Thomas und Sophia Regerbis.

Verschiedenste Spots haben die beiden abgesurft – “down the line” und einer besser als der andere. Thomas hat soviel Style in jedem seiner Turns – müsst ihr euch anschauen! Viel Spaß

A few weeks ago, we’ve started the “Road Trippin” videoseries of Thomas Traversa with a clip from Brittany. Now, Thomas and Sophia Regerbis, are live with the next episode – Portugal.

Several spots and “down the line” wavesailing at it’s best. Thomas has so much style in every turn he does and it’s just awesome to watch. Already looking forward to the next clip!

Vor ein paar Tagen gab es bereits das erste “Bretagne Xtreme” Video vom 5. Februar. Auch Thomas Traversa war dort  zu sehen und im gleichen Atemzug fällt meist der Name Sophia Regerbis – seiner Freundin und Frau hinter der Kamera. Natürlich hat Sophia von diesem Tag einen extra Clip in der Hinterhand – und kündigt gleichzeitig weitere “Road Trippin Movies” an. Portugal und Island klingen vielversprechend.

Am 5 Februar standen die Zeichen in der Bretagne auf Sturm. 45 Knoten Wind und eine abartig gute Wellenvorhersage ließen keine andere Wahl. Ab ins Auto – für Thomas Traversa, Thierry Belbeoc’h, Robin Goffinet und Fred Debuire ging es  in Richtung l’Ile aux Vaches. 1200km – nur für diesen einen Tag.

Wer das Video sieht wird feststellen, dass sich jeder einzelne Kilometer mehr als gelohnt hat. Das Teil ist der absolute Wahnsinn. Schaut rein und ihr werdet begeistert sein.

On 5 February, the weather in Bretagne were turning red with 45 knots of wind, wave and 8 meters 14 seconds period announced conditions worthy of a real storm. Thomas Traversa travelled 1200km to l’Ile aux Vaches just for this one session and if you see the video you’ll recognize that it was worth the effort.

He scored it EPIC and had a blast with Thierry Belbeoc’h, Robin Goffinet and Fred Debuire who joined also. Check this clip. Amazing sailing, good edit and matchin tunes.
