Hot Sails Maui is pleased to announce that 18yr Maui based ripper Morgan Noireaux has joined their Pro Wave Team with immediate effect.

He will be working closely with Kauli, Tom & Jeff to continue the development of the wave sails. Morgan who finished the AWT 2012 in 4th spot is preparing for the new season and we expect great things in the months ahead. Already firmly established as one of the best riders at Ho’okipa Morgan has proved himself in a range of conditions while on Tour and adds a new dimension to the Hot Sails Maui Ohana.

Mit “Bon Tardi” grüßen sich die Locals auf Curacao am Nachmittag und da Rafael de Windt mit 17 Jahren noch zur Schule geht passt “Bon Tardi” auch als Titel für seinen neuen Videoclip – denn am Wasser ist er bisher nur Nachmittags anzutreffen.

Hot Sails Maui nahm den 17 jährigen Freestyle Shootingstar ins Team auf und wir freuen uns schon darauf seinen Weg im Jahr 2013 zu verfolgen. Für Rafael geht es auf die Worldtour, zur IFCA Jugendweltmeisterschaft und auch auf der EFPT Tour will er starten. Klingt nach einem Plan – und Curacao als Winterdestination scheint dem Video nach zu urteilen auch nicht ganz verkehrt gewesen zu sein.

“Bon Tardi” is the translation for “Good Afternoon” on Curacao and it’s the perfect title for the following video because Hot Sails Maui’s rising freestyle star Rafael de Windt is on the water in the afternoon when he finished his studies.

We’ll follow the way of this talented 17 years old freestyler who will compete on the Worldtour, the IFCA youth worldchampionship and EFPT that year. Check out his shortclip from Curacao.  This guy has skills!

Hot Sails Maui is pleased to announce former World Wave Champion Kauli Seadi BRA 253 has joined their team with immediate effect.

Kauli joins the innovative Hawaiian brand at a time when development is at its fastest pace in years and he will immediately be working closely with our renowned and talented designers Jeffrey Henderson & Tom Hammerton in Maui. Together Kauli and the team aim to further develop the wave range in the coming months and subsequent seasons. Kauli is well known as an innovator himself and working with Hot Sails Maui will be a perfect fit.

The addition of Kauli to this closely knit team, will generate fresh ideas and give a new energy to all in the Hot Sails Maui Ohana worldwide.

Hot Sails Maui has been gaining a lot of attention recently with products including the Firelight, the Super Freak Maui Ed. and most recently the QU4D, which all stand out from the crowd on the water for their innovative designs and exceptional performance.

Kauli is stoked to have Hot Sails Maui support his new project “My Dream Tour” with the aim of inspiring others to travel, dream, and share our wonderful sport with new friends and in new places. The first project on his agenda is his Gostoso adventure, which you will be hearing far more about in the coming weeks and subsequent interviews.

With this new move Kauli plans to scale back his PWA appearances in 2013 only competing in waves events with surfing style conditions.
