Product Update for our webshop. Today we got some new products which we’d like to introduce. Clip Harness Line making headlines and every day some new riders join the “shiny movement” – even on the PWA Worldtour. We have all lengths (20-28 inch + 26-34 inch) and finally all colours on stock. Green, Blue, Red, Magenta, Yellow and Orange – check them here.

Furthermore we have the Kanulock‘s back on stock. These lockable & steel reinforced roofrack straps work exactly the same way as a regular set of tiedowns however they have the added benefits of being able to lock securely with a key and are reinforced with stainless steel cables. There are different lengths on stock. 2,5m “surf” – 3,3m “SUP” and 4m for more boards, SUP’s or kajaks.

Bogo, von der polnischen Windsurf Website sieplywa.pl war im April auf Maui und nutzte die Chance für ein Gespräch mit Sam Bittner – Tour Manager der American Windsurfing Tour.

Im Video Interview gibts viele interessante Fragen zum Start der AWT und einen Traum den sicherlich viele haben werden. Es geht um ein PWA / AWT Event in Hookipa – Daumen drücken, das wäre der Hammer!

Teneriffa hat viel mehr zu bieten als den Worldcup Spot Cabezo und die Bucht von El Medano. Vor allem im Winter gibts teilweise atemberaubende Wellen – man muss nur wissen wo und wann. Alex Mussolini wohnt in El Medano – und hat immer ein Auge auf die Vorhersage um keinen “Magic Moment” zu verpassen, denn er weiß welcher Spot bei welcher Vorhersage funktioniert.

In der Gallery von Jochen Stolz / Windsurfing Tenerife surft “Musso” einen Spot der eigentlich den Wellenreitern vorbehalten ist. “Down the Line” at it’s best , neue Gaastra Segel und ein guter Fotograf hinter der Cam. Bei dieser Kombination mit Mussolini auf dem Board können fast nur solche Bilder rauskommen.

Tenerife has far more to offer then the Worldcup Spot Cabezo and El Medano Bay – especially in the winter time. Last years PWA Wave World Ranking number 3 Alex Mussolini, El Medano resident, is one of the local Tenerife Windsurfers that know about the variety of spots on the island and has always an eye at the forecasts to not miss one of those magic moments everyone loves our sport so much for.

“Writing and The Sea” nennt sich der neue Clip von Graham Ezzy, der von Kevin Pritchard produziert wurde. Vom Ho’okipa Beach Park gibt es jedes Jahr wahrscheinlich 100 Videos, die alle mehr oder weniger das Gleiche bieten. In “Writing and The Sea” ist dass anders, denn Graham transportiert nicht nur gnadenlos gute Windsurf Action, sondern auch eine Message.

Überzeugt euch selbst.

“Writing and The Sea” is a really personal video of Graham Ezzy which was directed and produced by Kevin Pritchard.

There are some hundred clips from Ho’okipa which show pretty much the same but this one really stands out because there’s also a messaage of Graham in it.

Gustav Häggström arbeitet an seinem Traum. Der Schwede ist 17 Jahre alt und will auf die Worldtour – sein Talent hat sich bis Roberto Ricci herumgesprochen und dieses Jahr durfte Gustav zum ersten Mal nach Maui – und fand sich gleich neben den RRD International Teamfahrern im Photoshoot wieder.

Ziemlich aufregend – checkt seinen Clip unten. Gustav hat Skills und in Hookipa ist im März mal richtig Betrieb auf dem Wasser.

Der nächste Freestyle Clip ist draußen. Max Matissek zog es für seine letzte Saisonvorbereitung für einige Wochen nach Dahab, wo er mit Phil Soltysiak und Steven van Broeckhoven starke Trainingspartner um sich hatte.

Zurück zuhause startete Max mit dem Editing und eigentlich sollte das Teil bereits vor dem Surfworldcup Podersdorf fertig sein – heute ist es soweit und warum es etwas länger gedauert hat, seht ihr nachdem ihr den “Play” Button gedrückt habt.

Viel Spaß mit dem Clip – sich Wind zu wünschen reicht nicht mehr, ihr müsst selbst aktiv werden – wie ihr im Clip sehen werdet.

The next freestyle flick is out. Max Matissek just uploaded his latest production from his spring trip to Dahab. He spent some  weeks there and trained hard for the upcoming season together with Phil Soltysiak from Canada and Steven van Broeckhoven from Belgium.

Back home he started the editing and we just have to say that it was worth to wait a bit longer. After you’ve hit the “Play” button you’ll understand why the editing took a bit longer.

Adrian Beholz schloss sein Wintertraining 2012 / 2013 mit einem Roadtrip durch Italien ab. Erst ging es nach Sardinien, wo er es das Jahr zuvor bereits richtig gut erwischt hat – dieses Mal funktionierte der Plan leider nicht und leich frustriert machte sich Adrian auf den Weg zurück.

Auf dem Weg zurück in den Norden bietet sich der Gardasee an um dort ein paar Tage Halt zu machen – vor allem wenn die Wetterlage passt und Adi endlich dass erwischte wonach er auf Sardinien gesucht hatte – WIND.

So war der letzte Schliff für Podersdorf gesichert und der Aufwand hat sich gelohnt – Adrian wurde mit Platz 7 bester Deutscher und kickte einige große Namen aus den Heats.

Adrian Beholz finished his winter training with some roadtrippin in Italy. He travelled to Sardinia first, where he scored it epic last year but unfortunately this time he didn’t scored that big.

On the way back home he stopped at Lake Garda where he finally got what he was looking for. Decent conditions to be well prepared for Podersdorf – which worked out. Adrian made a 7th place there – Congrats again

Nicht noch ein Clip aus Cape Town? Im neusten Video von Ross Williams gibt es neben der üblichen Wave Action auch neues Material zu bestaunen ,denn die Spots rund ums Kap zeigten diesen Winter wieder bestes Potential für R&D. Im Clip könnt ihr schon mal die 2014er Gaastra Segel im Einsatz auschecken. Viel Spaß dabei.

Seit 2010 gibt es den Wave Contest im hohen Norden und jedes Jahr übertrafen die Bedingungen alle Erwartungen. Auf Klitmoller ist Verlass und die perfekte Organisation des Teams um Robert Sand wird nicht nur von den Fahrern extrem geschätzt. Im hohen Norden packt jeder mit an um ein erstklassiges Event auf die Beine zu stellen – auch Livestream und Livescoring sind hier die “Benchmark”.

“Leider” müssen wir dieses Jahr ein wenig länger warten, denn der Event findet vom 16 . – 22. September einige Tage später statt als die beiden Jahre zuvor. Checkt den Teaser und streicht eucht die Woche dick im Kalender an.

A taste of things to come – we’re already so much looking forward to the PWA Cold Hawaii 2013. The comp, which had it’s first edition back in 2010 was blessed every year with the best conditions you may can ask for. Big winds, big waves and a perfect organisation and media work of the Cold Hawaii team around Robert Sand made Klitmoller to our favorite PWA event.

This year, the competition will take place a bit later between the 16th to the 22nd September. Check the brandnew teaser and start dreaming.
